Community Guidelines

Community Guidelines

The Deepwrk community exists to empower adults with ADHD and to help our members feel supported, connected, and understood.

Our guidelines are designed to ensure all members feel welcome and secure while fostering open, constructive conversations about ADHD.

Expectations for all community members

Be kind and respectful.

Communities are fundamentally about belonging — we're all in this together to create a welcoming environment. This is not a space to be mean, rude, offensive, or antagonistically political. While it is fine to challenge the ideas or arguments of others in our Community, avoid calling them names or making disrespectful comments about them. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required. If you and another member of our Community have a disagreement, make an effort to understand their points of view before you respond to them. And when you respond, strive to resolve disagreements constructively and respectfully. Disagreement is no excuse for poor manners.

Anti-Intolerance.

Deepwrk stands against all forms of dehumanizing or unlawful treatment of others, including but not limited to all forms of cyberbullying, cyber-harassment, hate speech, faul language, derogatory comments and remarks, or threats based on their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sexual orientation, sex, gender, gender identity, disability, or immigration status.

Don't promote, solicit, or spam.

There are plenty of places on the Internet for that; this is not one of them. We reserve the right, at our complete discretion, to remove any comments or statements that we or our systems identify as promotions, solicitations, or spam. We also reserve the right, at our complete discretion, to suspend any user accounts that engage in spam activity.

Keep discussions relevant and reasonable.

This is a Community about ADHD, body doubling, coworking, getting things done, and related topics.  We do not want you to feel limited or constrained to any specific topics or ideas, but topics or ideas that have no apparent in relation to Deepwrk, ADHD, or our Community’s stated goals will likely not be relevant. Please avoid "hot" topics like politics & religion (unless they specifically relate to your ADHD experience). Comments that stray too far from ADHD will be deleted.

Respect the privacy of others.

This is a private Community for people with ADHD who pay for our product. In general, we'd love for everyone to be as open and transparent as they want to be, but we want their privacy to be respected. Please do not share anyone’s nonpublic personal information on our platform. Do not use our platform to dox, extort, harass, or spread false and disparaging rumors about others.

Do not offer medical advice.

Share what has worked for you, but don't offer medical advice by suggesting a specific medication, dosage, natural treatment, etc. This is the job of the patient's medical practitioner only!

What happens if someone violates the code of conduct?

If we identify a violation, we may, at our discretion, opt to delete it without further comment and without notifying the person we might have concluded crossed the line. A first-time violation may receive a warning from us. If two or more violations occur during a short period of time, such as within one month, we may take further action. Violations of our Anti-Intolerance guidelines will most likely result in a permanent ban.

If you believe someone has violated our Community Guidelines or if you have any questions, comments, or concerns about our Community Guidelines, please contact us.

Thanks for reading and helping keep this community a place we're all excited to be a part of!
